The Reading and Learning Library Programme
To orientate you to the different segments of the programme,let me list the four segments here -
1. AskDewey!
- where you learn more about the different subjects you are studying. The aim is to stir your curosity and encourage you to research and read on on your own.
2. Stories . People . Life .
- where you read (listen and watch) stories, poems or drama about stories of people. The aim is to encourage you to explore the intrigues of life in a sometimes imaginative, creative or thought-provoking manner.
3. Advocacy 101
- where you find out the current affairs and real-life issues of the day. The aim is to challenge you to consider your role and responsibilities in these issues.
4. GESS, Community & Heritage
- where you learn more about your personal, social and cultural identity as a Gessian and citizen of Singapore. The aim is to awaken the unique 'YOU' as you discover more about yourself against the backdrop of your family, school, community, Singapore and the World.
