Develop Intelligence through Habits of Mind

Yes intelligence can be developed, so says research.

In the coming months, I hope to introduce to you 16 habits of thinking and being of intelligent people. If you like you may 'google' this to find out more - Habits of Mind. It's research-based and well-established in many parts of the world. I will print a set of notes for you to read. In the meantime, here's the 16 Habits of Mind :

Which of these do you need to focus on?

This week we started with Persisting (having persistence). Kudos to those nominated by their classmates to have qualities of Persistence : Irfan, Jeremy, Amelia, Khin, Shafie, Wilson, Jing Yong and Eunice.

Let's focus on Striving for Accuracy and Thinking and Communicating with Clarity and Precision  in tomorrow's EL lesson.
